William Christopher Hogan

February 6, 1999 – April 18, 2026

Spartanburg, SC - - It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Will, age 27, on April 18, 2026. A lifelong resident of Pacolet, South Carolina.  Will lived a life defined by grit, kindness, and an infectious sense of fun.

Known for his tireless work ethic, Will never shied away from a long day or a tough job. He took immense pride in his work at W. N Kirkland.

As hard as he worked, he played even harder.  Will was the life of every gathering, always armed with a quick joke, a loud laugh, and a spirit that made even the most ordinary moments feel like an adventure.

On the water was where he felt most at peace: Whether the sun was rising or setting, Will found his calm with a fishing rod in his hand and his loyal dog, Georgia by his side. He had a heart as big as the outdoors that he loved and a personality that everyone loved to be around. He was always ready to lend a hand to a friend.

He is survived by his loving parents, Chris and Lori Hogan, and their fur-baby "Bleu" and his sweet dog, "Georgia". Also surviving is his grandparents, Ron Rardin and Sue Hogan.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Susan Rardin and Robert Hogan and Larry and Dodie Wood.

A celebration of Will's life—one that will surely be filled with the stories and laughter he loved so much—will be held on Saturday, April 25th at 11am at 5250 Clifton Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC (Kevin and Amy Lee's property) by the river.  In honor of his love for the outdoors, the family requests that attendees dress comfortably and bring your lawn chairs.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to any local Animal Shelter reflecting his love for his dog.
