Dr. William Robert Morris

Gaffney, SC - - William Robert Morris "Bob", age 73, born in Greenwood SC, son of Ted and Mary Lou Morris. Bob passed away on February 12 at the Hospice House in Spartanburg, SC.

Bob attended the University of South Carolina where he played football and graduated with honors. Bob married Sheila Clary while in college before going to Dental school at the College of Charleston. After graduating Dental School, he moved to Gaffney, SC where he practiced for 40 years.

He loved many things, but family came above everything else and he always tried to make sure we were on the right path in life. His love of animals was always a part in his day-to-day life. Whether it be riding horses on the farm or with friends on trips or coming home from the office and tending to his cattle. Bob was an avid hunter, and the stories he would tell of the animals, people, and places would always amaze family and friends.

Bob was predeceased by Teddy Morris (Brother). He is survived by Robyn Saladino (Daughter) and spouse Kris Saladino, William Morris (Son) and spouse Amy Morris. He has seven fantastic grandchildren: Morgan Saladino, Haley Saladino, Kolby Saladino, Kelsey Saladino, Kelsey Harris, Zach Harris, and Wyatt Morris.

Bob will always be loved and missed. Things will never be the same without him, but he will live on in the memories of all the people he met in life. His best attribute was that he could always make you smile and laugh in any situation.

Services will be held at Cherokee Creek Baptist Church on Sunday February 16. Receiving of family and friends at 3pm – 4pm. Eulogy at 4pm.
