Vonnie Harris

Inman, SC - - Vonnie E. Byars Harris, 86, of 152 Riverbluff Extension, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 18, 2024 at her residence.

Born in Tryon, NC, she was the widow of the late Robert William Harris and daughter of the late John Gaston Byars and Janie Pearl Stott Byars.  She retired from Flowers Bakery and was a member of Buck Creek Baptist Church.  She loved her family, her fur-babies, and cooking.

Surviving is a son, Terry "Hoss" Harris (Kay) of Chesnee; four daughters, Sandra Blackwell of Cary, NC, B. J. Stephens (William) of Inman, Wanda Weaver (Ray) and Patsy McDowell (Dennis), both of Chesnee; seven grandchildren, Candace Philbee (Michael), Casey Diefenderfer (Daniel), Amanda Aylor (Alex), Nikki Smalley (Todd), Josh Harris, Caleb Harris and Lisa Case (Bob); twelve great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Byars, two sisters, Kathleen Robinson and Mildred Stacey, and a granddaughter, Brandy Harris.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Friday, November 22, 2024 at Blakely Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Clay Collins, Reverend Chuck Hyatt and Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating.  Interment will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
