Vivian Allison

Gaffney, SC – Vivian Ruth McAbee Allison, 91, of 107 Country Club Road, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of Edgar L. Allison and daughter of the late Will McAbee and Mae Parker McAbee.  She retired from textiles and was a member of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church.  She loved her family, gardening and flowers.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Dennis Allison (Debra) of Ellenboro, NC and Bruce Allison (Marjorie) of Gaffney; two grandchildren, Ashley Lucas and Tammy Kratz (Jimmy); a great-grandchild, Brianna Lucas; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Rosland Lee Allison and Roxanne Allison, a brother, J. R. McAbee and three sisters, Willie Mae Mullinax, Julia Allen and Midgie Perry.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 in Frederick Memorial Gardens with Reverend Tommy Wright officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.

The family will be at their respective homes.
