Theresa Hilderbrand

Cowpens, SC - - Theresa Ann Wilson Hilderbrand, 78, formerly of Bamberg, left her earthly home on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at her residence.

Born in Bamberg, SC, she was the widow of the late Gilbert “Gil” Hilderbrand and daughter of the late Paul J. and Virginia Scoggins Wilson. She retired as activities director and as a social worker at numerous nursing homes and was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church in Bamberg, SC. She adored being a mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved thrifting, her time in the mountains, and was stylish until the end.

She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Bunch and Missy Bunch Sandor (Steve); her grandchildren, Christopher (Jessica), Kayla (Jerry) and Weston (Taylor); numerous great-grandchildren, with one on the way. She is also survived by her beloved brothers, Gene Wilson (Frankie), Jimmy Wilson (Garnett), and Timmy Wilson (Rhonda), along with many nieces and nephews.

Your legacy is love and that will never fade. May your heart and mind finally rest in peace!
