Teresa Smith

Gaffney, SC - - Teresa Ann Williams Smith, 66, of 107 Gaston Shoals Road, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at her residence.

Born in West Palm Beach, FL, she was the wife of Mitchell Dell Smith and daughter of the late Fred Williams and Sylvia White Williams.  She retired from Cherokee County and was a member of Little Memorial Baptist Church.  She loved her family and crafts.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a son, Robert Smith of Gaffney; a daughter, Jennifer Rinehart (William) of Blacksburg; a brother, Bryan Blanton of Gaffney; a sister, Karen Medley of Camden; five grandchildren, Hope Painter (Cody), Josh Blackwell (Katlyn) Sydney Smith, Chace Smith and Triton Smith; two great-grandchildren, Wesley Painter and Jessie Painter; numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Terry Burton.

The family will receive from 1:00PM until 2:00PM on Monday, June 30, 2025 at Blakely Funeral Home.  Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend James Humphries officiating.  Entombment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

The family will be at the residence, 107 Gaston Shoals Road, Gaffney.
