Susie Harvey

Gaffney, SC - - Sue “Susie” Bagwell Harvey, 72, of 366 Jolly Road, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born in Pauline, she was the widow of the late Randy Dee Harvey and the daughter of the late Curtis Bagwell and Betty Wyatt Bagwell. She was a graduate of Dorman High School, retired from Limestone College, and attended Faith Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family and her fur-baby “Sally”, was very humorous, enjoyed movies and being outside.

Surviving are three daughters, Julie Sellars (David), Christy Harris (Jamie) and Jennifer Scruggs, all of Gaffney; a sister, Kay Burke (Terry) of Pauline; seven grandchildren, David Sellars, Anna Parsons (Holden), Christopher Harris, Tristan Harris (Melinda), Kathryn Harris, Noah Blanton and Landon Blanton; thirteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Baughcome and a brother, Robert Bagwell.

The family will receive friends from 2:30PM until 3:30PM on Thursday, October 15, 2026 at Blakely Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 4:00PM at Oakland Cemetery with Reverend Damon Keels officiating.
