Obituary

Ann Farr

Union, SC - - Sarah Ann Farr, 77 of 4373 Jonesville-Lockhart Highway, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024

Sara Ann Farr was born on September 22nd 1947 to Willie Farr and Lennah Gault Farr.  She was born in Union County South Carolina.  Ann was the youngest daughter of Willie and Lennah Gault Farr.  She had 6 siblings and although she was not the youngest her siblings considered her their baby.  Ann's youth was spent in the Pea Ridge community where she was well known and loved.

Most of Ann's lessons in life came from her family, living on a farm and her love of life!

Although Ann was born with cerebral palsy that limited many of her activities, she was able to enjoy the best that life had to offer.  She raised chickens and sold their eggs, she could push or drive a lawnmower, and she made the best cornbread in Pea Ridge.

Ann absorbed the love coming from those around her, and she returned it in kind. She never stopped being "Mr. Ann Farr", a name she gave herself.

Enjoying time with her family and friends was her primary joy in life. Ann Farr never met a stranger and never forgot a face.  She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter.

She loved people, animals and music. Ann was a force and she kept all of her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews in line.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as two brothers, Donald and William "Hotshot" Farr.  Her sister Faye Farr Webber joined her in her journey to meet her Lord and reunite with family.

Ann is survived by her beloved sister, Joyce Patrick and her brothers Willard (Robin) and Charles (Delores) and a sister-in-law, Deloris Farr.  She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

On October 1st, 2024, Sara Ann Farr shed her earthly pain and made a graceful exit, surrounded by the love she had nurtured all her life.

The family will receive friends from 12:00PM until 1:00PM on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Foster's Chapel Methodist Church.  Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00PM at the Church with Reverend Lee Coyle and Reverend Glenn Ribelin officiating.  Interment will be in the Foster's Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.
