Rosemary Worthy

Gaffney, SC - - Rosemary Worthy, 72, formerly of Cooper Street, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Blue Ridge in Brookview House.

Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late James E. Worthy and Helen Jones Worthy.  She was a graduate of Gaffney High School, a graduate of Limestone College, and attended North Greenville College.  She was formerly employed by Worthy's Variety Store, was the manager of her father's rental properties, and a member of Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church where she sang in the choir.

She is survived by her special friends, Susan Caggiano (Mickey), Mia Caggiano, Nick Caggiano (Tina) and Tina McSwain (Larry).  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Worthy and a sister, Janice Worthy.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 4, 2024 at Frederick Memorial Gardens with Dr. Clyde Thomas officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1449, Gaffney, SC 29342.

Everyone will be at their respective homes.
