Robert Osteen

Gaffney, SC - - Robert Jefferson Osteen, of 2103 Cherokee Avenue, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at his residence.

Born in Pacolet, he was the husband of the late Catherine Linder Osteen and the son of the late Ray Osteen and Minnie Sprouse Osteen. He loved country music and enjoyed playing the guitar. Mr. Osteen was retired from Peeler’s Dairy and Vic Bailey Ford and of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving is a son, Jeffery Osteen (Starlet) of Gaffney; a daughter, Lisa White of the home; five grandchildren, Scott White, Josh White, Jeffery Osteen Jr., Jacob Osteen (Yanna Bute) and Caitlyn Osteen; two great-grandchildren, Bella Osteen and Jacob Osteen Jr. Mr. Osteen was preceded in death by five brothers, Devore Osteen, Johnny Osteen, PeeWee Osteen, Danny Osteen and Edward Osteen; two sisters, Mary Snow and Emma Pettigrew.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
