Robert "Bobby" Huggin, Jr.

Gaffney, SC - - Robert "Bobby" Lee Huggin, Jr., 84, of 563 White Plains Road, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at his residence.

Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of the late Jenny Huggin and son of the late Robert Lee Huggin, Sr. and Minnie Ethel Elmore Huggin.  He was a graduate of Gaffney High School and Wofford College, retired from Hamrick's and the City of Gaffney, and was a member of White Plains Baptist Church.  He loved his family, fishing and was an avid Yankees fan.

He is survived by a brother, John E. Huggin of Gaffney; a niece, Clare Laye (Andrew) of Greer; three nephews, David P. Rhodes (B.J.) of Greer, Daniel Huggin and T. J. Huggin (Beth), both of Gaffney.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Rhodes, a brother-in-law, Wayne Rhodes, and a sister-in-law, Sandra Huggin.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00PM on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Oakland Cemetery with Reverend Michael Boyter officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: White Plains Baptist Church, 206 Soap Stone Road, Gaffney, SC 29340.

The family will be at their respective homes.
