Robert "Bob" More

Cowpens, SC - - Robert "Bob" Henry More, 85, of 123 Cherokee Spur, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was the husband of Theresa Schifano More and son of the late Richard "Dick" More and Gladys Hustus More Minervino, and stepson of the late Joseph Minervino.  He was the owner/operator of Robert More Waste Oil, a U. S. Army Airborne Veteran, and of the Protestant faith.  He loved his family, hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Lorraine Azevedo (Alan) of Cowpens; two sons, Robert R. More (Vanessa) of Columbia, NJ and Joseph J. More (Lisa) of Andover, NJ; a brother, John More of New Jersey; six grandchildren, Susan Hall (Tom), Dennis Azevedo (Tia), Danille More, Robert More, Joseph More (Kiara) and Tara More; five great-grandchildren, Jason, McKayla, Aiden, Pheobe and Isabel.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard More and Barry More.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.

The family will be at their respective homes.
