Robert “Bob” Dunlap

Salem, SC - - Robert “Bob” Dunlap 88, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026, at Palmetto Patriots Home, Gaffney SC. He was born on September 7, 1937, in Forest, Ohio, son of Anna M. and Charles J. Dunlap. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth of 64 years, his children Mary Beth Richardson (Ken), Keith (Suzanne)and Heather King (Marcus), grandchildren Josh, Jake, Matthew, Ellie, Kenny, Monica, Katelyn, Conner and great granddaughter Kennedy Grace. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Gerald. Bob was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, having served in the Special Forces where he made over 100 jumps, earning him his Master Parachutists Badge. After college, Bob had a Sales Management career with Graco, Inc. He was blessed with an early retirement and moved to Keowee Key where he enjoyed golf and two miraculous “hole in one’s”, watching many sports (Go Steelers), reading and an abundance of time spent with friends. Bobs heart was mostly defined by two things: his unwavering love for his family and his profound connection to his home and life at Keowee Key. Bob requested no formal service.
