Robert "Rob" Furmanek, Jr.

Cowpens, SC - - Robert "Rob" Allen Furmanek, Jr., passed away January 30th 2026 at the age of 56, unexpectedly.

Born in Passaic, NJ, he leaves behind his parents Linda S. Williams (Mother) and R. Dexter Williams ("whom he called Dad"), sister, Doreen S. Fowler and her husband, Dwayne R. Fowler, sister, Kimberly A Thompson and two nephews, Nicholas C. Fowler (Jordan) and James S. Fowler (Taylor) as well as their families to include a great-nephew, Jase Fowler and a great-niece, Lydia Fowler, a half-brother, Brian Scott Hudson, a niece, Kadicie Hudson, and many distant relatives, friends, neighbors and coworkers.

He was employed by O'Reilly Auto Parts and of the Baptist faith.  He loved his family, animals, enjoyed helping others, and watching Sci-Fi on T.V., especially Dr. Who.  He had a taste for nostalgia and was savvy in electronics.  He will be remembered as a "kind person with a heart of gold." He is very much loved and will be greatly missed!

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 11:00AM on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Blakely Funeral Home.  Memorial services will immediately follow at 11:00AM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Will Vergara officiating.
