Reba Lowe

Gaffney, SC - - Reba Sue Parsons Lowe, 82, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at her residence.

Born in Jonesville, VA, she was the widow of the late Robert Lowe and daughter of the late Charlie D. Parsons and Emily Mosley Parsons.  She retired from textiles and was a member of Providence Baptist Church where she was a member of the Fidelis Sunday School class and the Providence Women's Ministry.  She loved her family and church family, cooking, sewing, flowers, fishing, helping others, and traveling to the beach and mountains.

She is survived by two sons, Michael McDonald and Scott McDonald, both of Gaffney; five sisters, Jean O'Connor (John) of Roebuck, Linda Jordan of Spartanburg, Wanda Moore of Wellford, Frances Fowler of Spartanburg and Patsy Wilkie (Ricky) of Boiling Springs, SC; numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ben Parsons, David Parsons and Billy Parsons, and two sisters, Sarah Cody and Mary Wilbanks.

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 11:00AM on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Providence Baptist Church.  Memorial services will immediately follow at 11:00AM at the Church with Dr. Scott Peterson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Providence Baptist Church, 822 Providence Road, Gaffney, SC 29341.
