Randy Humphries

Gaffney, SC - - Randy Alan Humphries, 68, of 210 Brittany Road, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Pelham Medical Center.

Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Jo Ann Pruitt Humphries and son of the late James Maynard Humphries and Melvina Jones Humphries.  He was a graduate of Gaffney High School, a graduate of Spartanburg Methodist College and attended Limestone College.  He retired from TNS Mills in Blacksburg and was a member of Kirby Church.  Randy loved his family, his Kirby Church family, his fur-baby "Bailey", music, and was an avid S. C. Gamecocks fan.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Christopher Humphries of Gaffney; a brother, Reverend James E. Humphries (Debra) of Gaffney; a sister-in-law, Betty Melton of Gaffney; a granddaughter, Ava Humphries; nieces, Emily Martin (Ray) and Wendy Rollins, both of Gaffney; a nephew, Jessie Melton of Gaffney; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Kirby Church.  Memorial services will immediately follow at 4:00PM at the Church with Reverend Will Vergara and Reverend James Humphries officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Kirby Church, 512 Chandler Drive, Gaffney, SC 29340.
