Randy Harvey

Gaffney, SC - - Randy Dee Harvey, 68, of 366 Jolly Road, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital.

Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Sue "Susie" Bagwell Harvey and the son of the late Keisler Harvey and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Bradley Harvey. He was retired from Limestone College after 31 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, puzzles and restoring antique cars. Mr. Harvey was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his wife, also surviving is a son, Wade Harvey of Gaffney; five daughters, Christina Holland (Jamie) of Richmond, IN, Rachel Kise, Julie Sellars (David), Christy Harris and Jennifer Scruggs, all of Gaffney; three brothers, Rick Harvey of Chesnee, Ronald Harvey (Lena) of Gaffney and Troy Harvey (Delores) of Blacksburg; two sisters, Betty Gail Lipscomb and Reba Smith (Eugene), both of Gaffney; sixteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Harvey was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny Harvey and Harold Dean Harvey.

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 11:00AM on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Blakely Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 11:30AM at Oakland Cemetery with Reverend Tim Osment officiating.
