Rachel Lowry Bradford

Gaffney, SC - - Rachel Lowry Bradford, 87, formerly of 103 Chaucer Drive, passed after several years of declining health.

Born in Cherokee County on July 20, 1937, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Ruby Garner Lowry.  She was a former member of First Baptist Church, Columbia, SC.  After moving to Gaffney, she became a member of Abingdon Creek Baptist Church.  She loved Jesus, her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by former husband James H. Bradford, Sr., a brother Dennis M. Lowry, Sr. and an infant sister, Mildred Anna Lowry.

Surviving is her son James H. Bradford, Jr. of Lexington, SC; nephews, Dennis M. Lowry, Jr. (Debbie), Cleveland, SC, and James Tim Lowry (Carrie Gilbert), Gaffney; great-nephew Dylan Lowry (Kat); great-great nephew Fletcher Dennis Lowry; great-great niece, Ruby Lowry; sister-in-law, Jimmie H. Lowry and special friend Claudia Johnson all of Gaffney.

Per Rachel, a private service will be held at a later date.

The family will be at their respective homes.
