Plummie Seals

Gaffney, SC - - Plummie Upton Seals, 59, of 413 Ford Road, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Spartanburg, she was the wife of Timothy Lee Seals and the daughter of the late Wofford Upton and Ellaree Patterson Upton. She enjoyed cooking, music, especially country music and loved her family, especially grandchildren. Mrs. Seals was a retired Dialysis Tech from DCI of Gaffney and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, also surviving are two sons, Tray Seals of the home and Stephen Seals (Wendy) of Conover; two daughters, Stephanie Hopper (Marcus) and Courtney Burgess (John), both of Gaffney; four brothers, Aaron Upton of Mooresboro, Paul Upton (Dottie) of Gaffney, Freddie Upton of Columbia and Scott Greene (Deana) of Gaffney; four sisters, Sharon Lallement (George) of Myrtle Beach, Karen Seals (Robert) of Gaffney, Freda Harvey (Bryan) of Gaffney and Brenda Durham of Florida; ten grandchildren; a great-grandchild on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 11:00AM on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Calvary Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:00AM at the church with Reverend Joey Shetley officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
