Peggy Mullinax

Gaffney, SC - - Peggy Jean Carroll Mullinax, 74, of 2070 Pacolet Highway, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at her residence.

Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of Carroll Mullinax and daughter of the late Graham Junior Carroll and Ruby Blackwell Carroll.  She was a homemaker and a member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Cowpens.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a son, Christopher Dale Mullinax (Angie) of Gaffney; a sister, Joann Hambright of Gaffney; four grandchildren, Matthew Graham Mullinax, Crislyn Childers, Joseph Mullinax (Sierra) and Jennifer Hagler (Brandon); six great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Robin Childers and a brother, Dean Carroll.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, March 31, 2025 at Blakely Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Mountain View Baptist Church with Dr. Steven Griffith officiating.  Interment will be in the Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905 (in memory of her late daughter, Robin Childers).
