Peggy Brackins

Pacolet, SC - - Peggy Ingram Brackins, 74, of 351 Cleveland Street, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 17, 2024 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Spartanburg, she was the wife of Richard E. Brackins and the daughter of the late Donald Ingram and Virginia Pruitt Williams. She was retired from South Carolina Mental Health and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Brackins was a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, also surviving is a son, Coby McGuire of Spartanburg; a daughter, Amy McGuire (Gary Gosnell) of Duncan; two brothers, Donald "Bo" Ingram of Glendale and Timmy Williams (Kim) of Gaffney; a sister, Patty Watson of Franklin, NC; four grandchildren, Kailin Meissner (Matthew), Gage Cash, Cayden McGuire and Brianna McGuire; three great-grandchildren, Ava, Mila and Beau; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Brackins was preceded in death by two brothers; and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00PM on Monday, May 20, 2024 at Calvary Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Bill Pickle officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the church.  A private interment will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: St. Jude's Children Hospital, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105-1905.
