Patricia Lanier

Gaffney, SC - - Patricia "Pat" Jackson Lanier, 86, of 131 Greenfield Road, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 11, 2025 at her residence.

Born in Spartanburg, she was the wife of the late Gerald Lanier and the daughter of the late Shirley Jackson Loftis. She enjoyed word search, IPad games, enjoyed dipping snuff and gardening. Mrs. Lanier was a graduate of Gaffney High School and was retired from Textiles.

Surviving is a son, Dale Childress of Union; a daughter, Jerri Lanier of Conway; a brother, Reggie Jackson (Norma) of Gaffney; a sister, Cathy Bolin (Roger) of Gaffney; two grandchildren, India McKee (Laura) and Bobby Gantenbein; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lanier was preceded in death by two brothers, Leon Jackson and Jimmy Jackson; and a sister, Louise Martin.

The family will receive friends from 3:00PM until 4:00PM on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4:00PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joey Turner officiating.
