Kathy McCraw

Mooresboro, NC - - Nancy Kathryn Stamper McCraw, 67, of 117 Jim McCraw Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Atrium Health-Cleveland.

Born in Albemarle, NC, she was wife of Ronnie McCraw and daughter of the late Leon Stamper and Nancy Elizabeth Hartsell.  She retired from Kohler and was of the Baptist faith.  She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, cooking and fishing.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter, Julie Carr (Jack) of Shelby, NC; a brother, David Stamper (Penny) of Walnut Cove, NC; three grandchildren, Jacob Carr, Katie Carr and Caleb Carr.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Steve Stamper and Tim Davis.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Blakely Funeral Home.  Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Daryle Hawthorne officiating.  Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at the home of Jack and Julie Carr, 4095 Hamilton Road, Shelby, NC.
