Blane Harvey

Spartanburg, SC – Michael Blane Harvey, 50, of 1271 Whitestone Road, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at his residence.

Born in Spartanburg, he was the companion of Kelly Harvey, the son of Elizabeth Wells Moore of Virginia and the late Randy Harvey, and stepson of the late James Moore.  He was a graduate of Broome High School, a graduate of Spartanburg Technical College, and was formerly employed as a welder with Master Machinery.  Blane was a member of Brown's Chapel Baptist Church, loved his family, fishing and hunting.

He is also survived by a son, Levi Harvey of Buffalo, SC; three daughters, Kayla Crocker (Nicholas) of Poquoson, VA, Hayle Myers (Roger) of Spartanburg and Brystle Harvey of Buffalo; five grandchildren, Rylan Crocker, Hadleigh Crocker, Krew Crocker, Knox Crocker and Maggie Myers; his grandmothers, Erlene Harvey, Gloria Wells and Annett "Mama Net" Ketz.  In addition to his father and stepfather, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dusty Harvey.

The family will receive friends from 2:00PM until 3:00PM on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Putman Baptist Church in Buffalo, SC.  Memorial services will immediately follow at 3:00PM at the Church.

The family will be at their respective homes.
