Mary Jane "Janie" Meyer

Gaffney, SC - - Mary Jane "Janie" Meyer, 63, of 1522 Wilkinsville Highway, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at her residence.

Born in Miami, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Gerald Tatum and Martha Burgess Tatum.  She was a graduate of Gaffney High School and Limestone College and retired from Nestle.  She loved her family, her Dachshunds, yard sales, shopping, and was very thrifty.

Surviving are two sons, John-Thomas Aaron Meyer of Gaffney and Justin Chase Tatum Meyer (Rachel) of Eagle Point, Oregon; a daughter, Julianna Elizabeth Jane Meyer (fiancé Karnavis "Nate" Roberts) of Gaffney; a brother, Jerry Tatum (Jeanette) of Union; seven grandchildren, Cadence Meyer, Aaryn Meyer, Brooklyn Meyer, Jaden Cervantes, Jenna Meyer, Jonathan Meyer and Nehemiah Roberts; numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Tatum, and a sister, Janet Scruggs.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

The family will be at their respective homes.
