Mary Cobb

Spartanburg, SC - - Mary Etta Morgan Cobb, 72, went home to her Lord and Savior on Tuesday evening, September 3, 2024.

She was born January 25, 1952 to the late J. C. Morgan and Christine Whiting Morgan.  Mary was married to her loving husband Marshall Lee Cobb for 56 years.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Marvin Lee Cobb of the home and Jeremy Chad Cobb and his daughter Brittany Nicole Cobb of Spartanburg.

Mrs. Cobb was a member of Pacolet Mills Baptist Church.  She also was director of the church nursery from 2000-2017 and also was a choir member for several years.  Mary was deeply loved and will be missed by her family and those that knew her.  She was preceded in death by her siblings, Jerry Wayne Morgan, Phillip Scott Morgan and Elaine Morgan Rochester.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00PM on Friday, September 6, 2024 at Pacolet Mills Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Pacolet Mills Baptist Church with Dr. Frank Taylor officiating.  Interment will be in the Pacolet First Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at the residence.
