Martha Wells

Spartanburg, SC - - Martha Fowler Wells, 83, of 290 White Oak North Grove Medical Park Drive, formerly of 821 Hillbrook Circle, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 31, 2026.

Born in Jonesville, she was the loving wife of Volline Mitchell Wells for 63 years and the daughter of the late Boyd Fowler and Bernice Gossett Fowler. She was a graduate of Pacolet High School, enjoyed cooking, loved the ocean and the lake and had a great love for her family. Mrs. Wells was retired from Spartanburg Regional Medical Center and a member of Montgomery Memorial Methodist Church, where she was a choir member and served on various committees. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

In addition to her husband, also surviving is a son, Chris Wells (Tiffany) of White Stone; a daughter, Angie Davis (Scott) of Greer; four grandchildren, Lauren Davis-Dodd (Lance), Hayes Davis, Clayton Wells (Alyssa) and Colton Wells; numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wells was preceded in death by four brothers, Boyd Fowler Jr., Bobby Fowler, Foster Fowler and infant brother, Marvin Fowler; and five sisters, Mildred Thompson, Lunette Owens, Mary Gentry, Betty Linder and Ruth Conselyea.
