Margaret Jones

Chesnee, SC - - Margaret Pryor Jones, 90, of 7148 Parris Bridge Road, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born in Chesnee, she was the widow of the late Robert Lee Jones and daughter of the late Grover Lovelace and Laura Pryor Lovelace.  She was a homemaker and member of Piedmont Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Carrie Jones and Laura Arledge (David), both of Chesnee; a grandson, Scott Arledge (Kaitlyn). In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Loyd Lovelace and Clarence Lovelace.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 3:45 PM on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Tabernacle of Love in Chesnee. Funeral services immediately follow at 4:00 PM at Tabernacle of Love with Reverend David Arledge and Pastor Mike Durham officiating. Interment will be in Friendly Hills Cemetery in Chesnee.
