Marci Jones-Rios

Blacksburg, SC - - Marci Jones-Rios, 72, formerly of Blacksburg, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Peachtree Centre.

Born in Leominster, MA, she was the daughter of the late Mitchell W. Jones and Ruth Thrasher Jones.  She graduated from Tyler Technical and York Technical Colleges, was a homemaker, and of the Episcopalian faith.  She loved her family, crocheting and volunteer work.

Surviving are three daughters, Shannon Hurley of Memphis, TN, April Gambrell of Greer and Angela Rimmer of Bessemer City, NC; two sisters, Judith Beck of York and Susan Jordan of Massachusetts; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Alan M. Jones.

No services are scheduled.
