Linda Waters

Myrtle Beach, SC - - Linda Harris Waters, 75, of 962 Southpark Drive and formerly of Gaffney, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 11, 2026 at Grand Strand Medical Center.

Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of the late Riley Edward Waters and daughter of the late Herschel E. Harris and Wilma Turner Harris Ramsey. She was a retired LPN and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving is a daughter, Kathleen Gallman (Mark) of Gaffney; a stepdaughter, Aimee Waters of Boiling Springs, SC; a stepson, Seth Waters of Myrtle Beach; a sister, Kathy Harris Padgett of Myrtle Beach; three grandchildren, Megan Robertson (Matt), Krystan Smith (Cody) and Colton Simmons (Marisa); three step-grandchildren, Emily Waters, Elise Thompson and Evan Thompson; two great-grandchildren, Lyla and Arya; a niece, Beth Overton (Ryan); a great-niece, Karli Joyner (Jacob); a great-nephew, Quaide Overton. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Simmons, a stepson, Kevin Waters, and a grandson, Lane Colt Simmons.

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 10:45AM on Friday, May 15, 2026 at Blakely Funeral Home. Graveside services will immediately follow at 11:00AM in Frederick Memorial Gardens with Reverend Jimmy Dillard officiating.
