Linda Correll

Gaffney, SC - - Linda Faye Gentry Correll, 77, of 1141 Pacolet Highway, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City, NC.

Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late David Solomon Gentry and Mary "Maggie" Coleman Gentry.  She retired from Nestle, was a member of the Senior Centers of Cherokee County, and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving is a son, Kevin L. Correll of Gastonia, NC; her companion of 26 years, William "Bill" Morgan of Gaffney; a niece, Betty Gentry Natzke (Daniel); two nephews, Kenneth Gentry (Pattie) and Tony Gentry (Charlene); numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd E. Gentry and Grady Gentry, a sister-in-law, Betty Gentry, and two nephews, David Gentry and Lloyd Gentry, Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, April 23, 2026 in the Goucher Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Richard Sellars officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
