Linda Fowler

Gaffney, SC - - Linda Phipps Fowler, 78, of 240 Carson Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Born in Tabor City, NC, she was the wife of Earl F. Fowler and the daughter of the late Dailon Phipps and Edna Norris Phipps. She loved the beach and beach music, loved to shop, especially at Goodwill, enjoyed cooking, loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Fowler was retired from Hamrick's Clothing and a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, also surviving is a daughter, Lisa Beach (James) of Gaffney; two brothers, Mike Phipps (Dianne) of Georgetown and Jeff Phipps (Judy) of Murrells Inlet; two grandchildren, Ashley Beach (fiance', Antonio Ortega) and Alyssa Ruppe (Jonathan); three great-grandchildren, Caroline Elmore, Emiliana Ortega and Laine Ruppe; and four step-great-grandchildren, Aiden Ruppe, Rileigh Ruppe, Nevaeh Ruppe and Gunner Ruppe. Mrs. Fowler was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Phipps; a sister-in-law, Ann Cox.

The family will receive friends from 2:30PM until 3:30PM on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Blakely Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow at 3:30PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: St. Jude Children Hospital, 501 Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105-1905.
