Linda Duncan

Chesnee, SC - - Linda Newby Duncan, 81, of 921 Reynolds Road, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at her residence.

Born in Huntsville, Alabama, she was the widow of the late Pastor Don Louis Duncan for 62 years and the daughter of the late Percy Newby and Juanita Miller Newby.  She retired from Auto Com and was a member of Calvary Assembly of God.  She loved her family and animals.

Surviving are two sons, Michael Duncan (Kimberly) of Anderson and Damon Duncan of Chesnee; a daughter, Rose Marie Duncan of Cincinnati, Ohio;  two sisters, Gerald Glynn of Hartwell, GA and Brenda Page of Belton, SC; eleven grandchildren, Tom Adcock, Ashley Adcock, Amanda Adcock, Stephanie Burns, Jennifer Knight (Chris), Megan Blackston (Jeff), Chasity Bridges, Jodi Shirk (Jerek), Linda Beam, Damon Duncan, II and Christopher Duncan; twenty-one great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a son-in-law, Tom Adcock.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Alecia Adcock.

Cryptside services will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, November 24, 2025 in Frederick Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Pastor Dale Dyar officiating.  The family will receive friends following the cryptside service.

The family will be at the residence.
