Linda Deaton

Gaffney, SC - - Linda Pridmore Deaton, 65, of 234 Eden Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at her residence.

Born in Statesville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Walker Pridmore and Ruby Mills Pridmore Blackwell.  She retired from textiles and was of the Baptist faith.  She loved her family, especially her grandchildren who affectionately called her "MiMi", her dogs, reading her Bible and gardening.  She was an avid supporter of her granddaughter Josie's kickboxing matches and her grandson Braxlen's baseball games.

Surviving is a son, Jody Pridmore (Brandy) of Gaffney; a daughter, Carly Clark of Gaffney; a brother, Jimmy Pridmore of Inman; two sisters, Peggy Bedford of Blacksburg and Debra Pridmore of Inman; four grandchildren, Josie Pridmore, Cailey Fite, Graysen Fite and Braxlen Fite.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Pridmore.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at True Gospel Independent Baptist Church with Reverend Tim Osment and Reverend Jerry Peck officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service.

The family will be at their respective homes.
