Larry Sharpe

Gaffney, SC - - Larry Eugene Sharpe, 87, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025 Upstate Community Hospice House.

Born in Burlington, NC, he was the husband of Bonnie Ring Sharpe and the son of the late Dean Sharpe and Preto Capps Sharpe.  He was a United States Navy Veteran, retired from Hamrick's and First Piedmont Federal. Mr. Sharpe was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his wife, also surviving are two sons, Tobin Sharpe of Gaffney and Kelly Sharpe of the home; a granddaughter, Brandi Sharpe White (Bradley); and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Sharpe was preceded in death by four brothers; and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating. Interment will be Frederick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.
