Kelley Kennedy

Blacksburg, SC - - Kelley Larkin Kennedy, 65, of 1120 99 Island Road, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Cherokee Medical Center.

Although born in Laredo, TX, Kelley grew up in Kansas and built a life with her family in South Carolina.  She was the wife of Tommy Jackson Kennedy and daughter of the late Larry Larkin and Dee Phillips Larkin.  She retired as a school psychologist from the Cherokee County and Cleveland County School Districts, and was of the Christian faith.  She loved her family, gardening and dogs.  She was an avid North Carolina Tarheel fan.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Raleigh Kennedy (fiancé Jerry Hopper) of Blacksburg; a daughter, Jordan McPherson (Matt) of Blacksburg; two sisters, Traci Leavine (Chip) of Florida and Heather Wilson (Chuck) of Blacksburg; six grandchildren, Lauren, Scarlett, Maddie, Camden, William and Ryan; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 11:00AM on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Blakely Funeral Home.  Memorial services will immediately follow at 11:00AM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating.
