Julie Steadman

Gaffney, SC - - Julie McCraw Steadman, 51, of 632 Macedonia Road, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at her residence.

Born in Shelby, NC, she was the wife of Jody Ray Steadman and daughter of Robert Wayne McCraw of Gaffney and the late Judith "Judy" Turner McCraw.  She was a graduate of Gaffney High School and Kings College, employed by Moss Insurance Agency, and a member of El Bethel Baptist Church.  Julie was a member of the Bikers for Christ and Armored Saints Motorcycle Ministries, loved her family, camping, drag racing and her fur-baby "Chance".  She loved meeting new people and never met a stranger.

Surviving in addition to her husband and father is a brother, David Wayne McCraw of Gaffney; two sisters, Donna McCraw Spencer (Timmy) of Gaffney and Michele McCraw Christianson (Todd) of Winnsboro; six nieces and nephews and eleven great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at Macedonia Baptist Church.  Memorial services will follow at 2:00 PM at the Church with Reverend Mitch Trammel, Dr. Duvall and Reverend Bryon McIntrye officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Gibbs Cancer Center, 101 E. Wood Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303.

The family will be at their respective homes.
