Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late William Jimmy Martin, Sr. and Louisa Wilson Martin.  She was a realtor with Cendant Corp. and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving is a son, John David Harris (Jamie) of Gaffney; a daughter, Stephanie Luton (Joey) of McDonough, GA; two brothers, William "Jimbo" Jimmy Martin, Jr. (Joanie) of Cosby, Tennessee and David Lee Martin (Audra) of Belmont, NC; two grandchildren, Jackson Harris and Tucker Harris.
