Johnny "Gomer" Wyatt

Cowpens, SC - - Johnny David "Gomer" Wyatt, 68, of 119 Sunny Slope Drive, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late J. D. Wyatt and Mary Moses Wyatt and was raised by his grandparents, Grover and Lucille Wyatt.  He was formerly employed by Ultra Lube and of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by a son, Johnny Dewayne Wyatt (Carrie) of Gaffney; three grandchildren, Aedan Mendoza, Landon Wyatt and Samuel Wyatt; special cousins and caregivers, Nancy Broome and Anita Henry, both of Gaffney.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Scott Landon Wyatt and two brothers, Stanley Wayne Wyatt and James Wyatt.

The family will receive friends from 2:00PM until 2:45PM on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Blakely Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 3:00PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Clifford Phillips and Reverend Bryon Inman officiating. Interment will be in the High Point Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at their respective homes.
