John Belwood, Jr.

Gaffney, SC - - John Robert Belwood, Jr., 78, of 133 Atkinson Road, passed away on June 8, 2025 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born in Evansville, Indiana, he was the son of the late John Robert Belwood, Sr.  He was a police officer in Indiana for twenty years, retired from Limestone College, a U. S. Army Veteran, and of the Catholic faith.

Surviving are three grandchildren, Hunter Belwood (Theresa), Brett Belwood and Cheyenne Belwood; his companion Debra Loggins and her children, Kieky Durham and Triscia Williams.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Eric Belwood.

No services are scheduled.

The family will be at their respective homes.
