Joan Erwin

Gaffney, SC - - Joan Parris Erwin, 81, of 101 Park Court, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024 at The Retreat of Gaffney.

Born in Gaffney, she was the daughter of the late Alfred E. Parris and Lavercia Mosley Parris. She was a graduate of Gaffney High School, enjoyed traveling and the outdoors, especially feeding the deer and loved her furbabies. She was retired from the Department of Defense and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are two daughters, Christina Erwin (Sue) of Asheville and Karen Erwin of Morrisville, NC; a brother, Randy Parris (Ann) of Gaffney; a nephew, Scott Parris (Rachel) of Walhalla; a great-nephew and a great niece. Ms. Erwin was preceded in death by a sister, Joanne Crow.
