Jeannerae Church

Gaffney, SC - - Jeannerae Watkins Church, 64, of 523 W. Montgomery Street, Apt. 1, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at her residence.

Born in Tulare, CA, she was the daughter of the late Roy Gene Ormsbey and Dorothy Lucille Grady. She retired from American Airlines and was of the Catholic faith. She loved her family, collecting gemstones, making jewelry, and was an avid Denver Broncos fan.

She is survived by her three sons, David Watkins (Kimberly) of Clover, Mark Church of Spartanburg and Dillon Church (Miah) of Antioch, TN; two brothers, Lawrence Watkins of Colorado and Kenneth Watkins (Debbie) of Michigan; a sister, Patricia Hanley of New York; nine grandchildren, Easton Watkins, Rebecca Watkins, Jeremiah Church, Elijah Church, Kairi Church, Jonathan Church, Blake Church, Colby Church and McKenzie Church; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob Watkins and Frank Watkins, and two sisters, Judy Hale and Elona Berkholder.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00PM on Friday, August 7, 2026 in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jeff Dellinger officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
