Gaffney, SC - - James Edward Scott, 66, of 2286 Corinth Road, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024 at his Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Logan, West Virginia, he was the life companion of Debbie Gambino of the home and son of Lovearn Jones Scott of Romeoville, IL and the late James Scott.  He loved his family and was a retired brick mason.

He is also survived by two sisters, Angela Zeb (Steve) and Dreama Valencia, both of Illinois; numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Glenn Scott and a sister, Cedena McCombs.

No services are scheduled.

The family will be at their respective homes.
