Jacqueline "Jacki" Douglas

Gaffney, SC - - Jacqueline "Jacki" Hosking Douglas, 76, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at her residence.

Born in New York, NY, she was the widow of the late Ernest Clarence "Ernie" Douglas, Jr., daughter of the late James Hosking and Antoinette Guieysse Hosking and survived by her friend and former husband, Robert DuPlessis.  She was a retired home health care worker and was of the Protestant faith.  She loved her family, her fur-babies, was very proud of her French heritage, and was an avid Johnny Hallyday and Bob Dylan fan.

She is also survived by a son, Jereck DuPlessis of Gaffney; two daughters, Annette DuPlessis of Gaffney and Sara DuPlessis of Boiling Springs, SC; a brother, Alain Hosking (Jannine) of France; a sister, Claudine Waldo (Gil) of Arizona; three grandchildren, Jordyn DuPlessis (Nicholas Rose), Izabelle Garrett and Jorja DuPlessis; several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ted Donohue.

Private Memorial services will be held at a later date.
