Jackie Nelson

Grover, NC - - Jackie Lane Nelson, 73, formerly of 114 Villa Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 1, 2025 at Peachtree Centre.

Born in Hot Springs, VA, he was the husband of Phyllis Hullender Nelson and son of the late R. L. Nelson and Ella Williams Nelson.  He retired from Guthrie Machine Shop, was a U. S. Army veteran, and a member of Cornerstone Church in Gaffney.  He loved his family, landscaping and fishing.

In addition to his wife, also surviving are two sons, Michael Nelson (Candice) of West Point, VA and David Nelson of VA; two stepsons, Joshua Hanvy (Crystal) of Lincolnton, NC and Jason Morrow (Chrystal) of Grover, NC; two brothers, Jamie Nelson of Hot Springs, VA and Anthony Nelson of VA; seventeen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Janice Nelson and Joanie Nelson Bogan.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

The family will be at their respective homes.
