Helen Chipman

Gaffney, SC - - Helen Sue Todd Chipman, 88, of 674 Carolina Ridge Road, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at Upstate Carolina Hospice House in Landrum.

Born in Conway, SC, she was the widow of the late William Chipman and daughter of the late Grover Todd and Ruby Myrtle McCormack Todd and stepdaughter of the late Grace Shipman Todd.  She retired from Wal-Mart, loved her family and traveling.

Surviving are two sons, James Ernewein of Myrtle Beach and William R. Chipman (Lydia) of Brazil; two daughters, Mary Ellen Jackson (Jay) of Gaffney and Debbie Riegle (Tim) of Canada; a son-in-law, Augustine "JR" Diaz-Rivera of Mayo; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Diaz-Rivera, two brother and two sisters.

No services are scheduled.
