Helen Spencer

Moore, SC - - Helen Lucille Cooper Spencer, 70, formerly of Gaffney, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at her residence with her loving daughter by her side.

Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of the late Randall Eugene Spencer and the daughter of the late William Alfred Cooper and Helen Rathbone Cooper. She enjoyed reading, working puzzles, crocheting and loved her grandchildren, who affectionally called her "Nay-Nay". Mrs. Spencer was retired from Nestle and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Surviving is a daughter, Jonnie Vinson (Carey) of Moore; two sisters, Barbara Barton of Rosman, NC and Paulette Allison of Gaffney; three grandchildren, Hannah Bell, Jackson Bell and Axton Vinson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Spencer was preceded in death by three sisters, Linda Gallman, Kathy Fleming and Carolyn LeCroy; and an infant daughter, Michelle Spencer.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00PM on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Tim Osment and Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.

The family will be at their respective homes.
