Glenda "Linda" Orr

Gaffney, SC - - Glenda "Linda" Patterson Orr, 72, of 222 Patrick Road, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at her residence.

Born in York, SC, she was the wife of Robert Pittman Orr and daughter of the late William Russell Patterson and Garnell Elizabeth Honeycutt Patterson.  She retired from textiles and Wal-Mart and was of the Baptist faith.  She loved her family, fishing, crocheting and quilting.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a son, Bruce Taylor of Gaffney; two daughters, Debbie Brawley (Jackie) of Jonesville and Suzanne Orr of Gaffney; a brother, Bo Patterson (Jackie) of York; three sisters, Frances Patterson of River Hills, Kathleen Lattimore and Wanda Freeman, both of York; four grandchildren, Timothy James "TJ" Taylor, James Scruggs, Cody Wilson (Robyn) and Daniel Wilson; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Patterson, three sisters, Betty Cameron, Ann Mull, Myrtle Channell and a grandson, Jon Scruggs.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family will be at their respective homes.
