Gerald Duke

Gaffney, SC - - Gerald Lee Duke, 77, of 1181 S. Green River Road, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Born in Bloomington, Indiana, he was husband of Paulette Baine Duke and son of the late Herbert Duke and Helen Davis Duke. He attended Indiana University, retired from General Electric, and was a U. S. Army Vietnam veteran. He loved his family, fishing, and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his wife, also surviving is a son, Kevin Duke of Bloomington, IN; three daughters, Jennifer Duke of Bloomington, IN, Allie Brakefield and Lainey Comer, both of the home; a brother, Roger Duke (Angie) of Bloomington, IN; a sister, Linda Carter of Bloomington, IN; a grandson, Grant Duke; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Randy Duke and Gary Duke.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
