Gary Harriman

Chesnee, SC - - Gary Leland Harriman, 66, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born in Montpelier, VT, he was the son of Judy Carpenter Harriman of Hendersonville, NC and the late Gerald L. Harriman. He worked at Crane, was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran, and also served in the S.C. National Guard. He loved his family, nature and hunting.

Surviving in addition to his mother is a son Carl Harriman (Harmony) of Gaffney; three daughters, Heather Thompson (Cody) of Gaffney, Karolinn Lake of North Carolina and Jessica Harriman of Alabama; three brothers, Stephen Harriman (Judy) of Lexington, Henry Harriman of Columbus, NC and Gregory Harriman (Kristen) of Plainfield, IL; three sisters, Sandra Batchelder of Hendersonville, NC, Sara Savage (Stephen) of Middleboro, MA, and Jain Hayes (Michael) of Fletcher, NC; thirteen grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who all loved Uncle Gary.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

The family will be at their respective homes.
